Written by Andrew Busch // Edited by Drew Beyer // Header Image courtesy of Activision In the last couple of years the first-person shooter market seems to have been oversaturated with hyper-futuristic games that emphasize high mobility and utterly ridiculous weaponry. The Call of Duty series has certainly taken this direction of future war to heart, pumping out title after […]
First Time Long Time is about making the effort and experiencing some of these classics that might have slipped us by and seeing how they hold up so many years after their initial release. This week it’s time to talk about ActRaiser!
Written by Dyllan Rodrigues-Miller // Edited by Drew Beyer // Header Image courtesy of Hinterland Games A few months ago, my boyfriend and I were sitting on our couch, browsing through various games available on his Xbox One. We were discussing our preferences, weighing our options, and generally coming up empty… until we stumbled across something intriguing. It was titled […]

Right as I near the ground my character pulls the rip chord and my parachute deploys. My dive this round is […]

The Nintendo Switch was finally released on March 3rd. Supply hasn’t been a disaster like the NES Classic Mini Whatever, but it is a new console so it’s still going to take some time to get the system into the hands of everybody who wants one. Because I’m someone who managed/decided to get a Switch on launch day, I will lay out my experiences so far. Behold!

She’s probably better than you at it, too, considering her most recent play through clocks in at seven hours and nineteen minutes, which ranks her in the top two hundred in the world according to speedrun.com. When she texted me to […]
Written by the wonderful Drew Beyer // Uploaded and Edited by Andrew Busch (Note: the following contains minor spoilers for Playdead’s Inside- I tried to not spoil anything, but it’s hard to talk about a story without giving things away) It’s so late at night some might say it’s early in the morning. My friends Andrew, Ian and I run […]

This will be the sixth expansion for the MMORPG, adding yet another content boost to the dynamic, player inhabited world. As exciting as this may be, there is still a lingering itch residing in the back of […]
In preparation for its February 14th release date, Ubisoft launched a final open beta for its title, For Honor, over the weekend to sway some gamers off the fence into lunging to make a purchase. Unlike many of Ubisoft’s recent games focused on modern combat, the concept of For Honor is fairly unique because it is set within an alternative […]
